UK winter mornings will show a lower gauge on this Nemo without a puncture. Set 40/55 psi at ~20 °C equivalent, not after a motorway blast. Under-inflation cooks the shoulders of a Nemo; over-inflation wears the centre rib and bangs every cat’s eye.

Temperature and a cold gauge

Roughly 1 psi per 5–6 °C. The table uses 40 psi as a 20 °C baseline for this Nemo.

How to set the Nemo

  1. Measure before the school run, not after the M25.
  2. Write LF / RF / RR / RL. Do not keep Nemo numbers in your head.
  3. Add air in short bursts toward 40 psi (2.76 bar) front and 55 psi rear.
  4. If one corner is 4 psi down, hunt for a nail before you blame the weather.
  5. Log date, ambient temperature and the four readings.

Citroen Nemo placard versus sidewall

If the Citroen sticker is painted over, the handbook is next. This website is a map, not a replacement VIN label.

Estimated pressure by tyre size (265/70R17 and others)

Planning cold pressures for sizes often seen on a light commercial. This Nemo sample opens with 265/70R17, then 255/65R17 and 275/65R18.

Load notes

Load moves the rear of a light commercial first. If the factory placard already has a “laden” column, use that instead of these sketches.

Citroen notes

No special Citroen exception: the Nemo uses the door-pillar placard. Size estimates on this page only help if you have left the original load index behind.

Spare and inflator kit

A matching full-size spare on the Citroen Nemo usually follows the higher axle (often the rear, near 45-65 psi). A space-saver is commonly 60 psi / 4.1 bar — read that tyre’s own sidewall. An inflator kit is not a spare; check the sealant date.

Keep the Citroen Nemo on the printed band; use 265/70R17 and 275/65R18 only as a map for non-OEM wheels.

Questions about this Nemo

What tyre pressure should a Citroen Nemo use?

Catalogue reference is 35-45 psi front and 45-65 psi rear (2.4-3.1 / 3.1-4.5 bar), cold. Confirm on the door-pillar placard.

Should I bleed pressure after a motorway run?

No. Heat raises the gauge. Set cold only. Bleeding a hot tyre leaves it low the next morning.

When does TPMS warn on a Citroen Nemo?

Direct TPMS typically flags about 25% below placard — near 30 psi on this row. Fill to the sticker, not to the lamp.

How often should I check a Nemo?

Monthly, before a long trip, and after a 10 °C weather swing. Include a full-size spare.

Is the sidewall number correct on a Citroen Nemo?

No. Sidewall PSI is a maximum. The Nemo placard is the operating target, near 35-45/45-65 psi.
